Thank you to all alumni who return to the house to grill pancakes, dish up breakfast burritos, and keep the undergraduates fueled during finals week. Your presence brings energy, mentorship, and a reminder of what brotherhood looks like long after graduation.

If you’re interested in cooking a hot breakfast for the actives during finals week, please reach out to Dan Young ’83. We’d love to have more alumni step in and show today’s actives what lifelong brotherhood means. The menu is up to each volunteer, and the basics (eggs, milk, etc.) are provided by the house. It would be beneficial to have more individuals, especially those living in Spokane / Pullman region, volunteer so the same people aren’t cooking each semester! Also, Dan has organized this effort for the past 5 or 6 years, and is now looking for someone to take over as coordinator.

As the Alumni Advisor to the Vice President of Facilities (House Manager), Dan works closely with his advisee and the Live-in Advisor to ensure the chapter house functions mechanically and remains clean! Recently retired, Dan has been a valuable addition to the Alumni Advisory Team. And when not volunteering for our great chapter, you might catch him riding his mountain bike somewhere in the Pacific Northwest!

Reach out and say Hello, and if you are ready to give back, I expect Dan would be happy to pass the spatula to a new Alumni Member.
