Gamma Theta Earns the John Reily Knox Award
We’re proud to share that WSU’s Gamma Theta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi has been recognized with the John Reily Knox Award, the highest honor a chapter can achieve.
Named for our fraternity’s principal founder in 1839, the award is given only to chapters that excel across every area of fraternity life: scholarship, leadership, recruitment, financial health, philanthropy, and alumni engagement.
This recognition places Gamma Theta among the top chapters nationally and affirms that our undergraduates are carrying forward Beta’s values of mutual assistance, intellectual growth, trust, integrity, and responsible conduct. It’s not only a celebration of the past year’s hard work, but it’s also a proud moment for alumni and a strong foundation for the future.

This recognition was no easy task. The Beta E-Board was in constant contact with Nationals and the Alumni Advisor Committee. A significant amount of energy was invested in ensuring that the active Betas maintained consistent grades, volunteer hours, and financial standings at or above the National Average.
Hats off to a great group of Betas, who have demonstrated their best abilities and performed at the highest level, resulting in positive press and contributing to new recruitment levels this Summer in 2025!
