Help the Beta House at WSU

Our
Story

The 100-year-old house is always in need of maintenance. Each year, forty-two students reside in the home, where they receive three meals a day. We must consider the wear and tear caused by showers, laundry sessions, social events, and daily foot traffic. Belive us the dumb waiter and fireplace are still out of service.

This house, while full of character and charm, requires constant attention. Owned by the alumni of WSU Beta, the house operates as a non-profit. It's beneficial that WSU has no control over the property, but it also means that past alumni must manage the facility and keep it appealing to the Betas and new recruits.

Consequently, summer work parties and a punch list of needed repairs require significant management, along with coordination with outside vendors. Roofs don't fix themselves.
